When I was maybe 8 or 9 years old I had a cousin Gloria move
to smaller space leaving me the bounty of years of membership in book of the
month clubs. One of the books I spent
hours reading was called Samurai and is what I now know is a Samurai Western. One of the conventions I fell in love with in the story was
how people of culture composed haiku for all occasions. So, I took to doing
them in my head, and with twitter just tweeting them out when and if it struck
me.
The butterflies wing
Engages transformations
With inconstant wind
3/2/13
The Color Purple
Observations are happy
Bird with a french fry
3/2/13
Moonlit softer form
Slipping through dimension time
I stare cause I can
3/3/13
Time froze at the sight
People turned into shadows
Enola's new sun
8/613
Luckless lottery
Nagasaki's clear blue sky
Bock-scarred mourning
8/9/13
Half century dawns
Feels good yeah feels really good
Get ass off my lawn
10/5/13
My grand-babies heart
So much anticipation
Not so far away
12/13/13
I could be a tear
I'd spend my life on your cheek
And die on your lips
My Bellisima
My own being skips a beat
Restarts in your eyes
5/10/14
I gaze at heaven
Like your mom in the window
Eternity's wait
2/27/15
Luminous I shine
The space between Yin and Yang
I exist as line
3/15/15
I stare at heaven
Imagine immensities
Contained in a cell
3/26/15
Essence luminous
In the nucleus of all
Blush a tiny seed
3/27/15
Nucleus of all
Elders of the gentle race
Our mother foresee
3/28/15
The shadow lion
Misfortune must understand
Protected space here
3/29/15
My view is ensnared
Electronic spider's silk
Blue-jay's hunting porch
Shine on you raver
Lieutenant Dan on the mast
All iterations
4/1/15
Is there a problem
Are pebbles big obstacles
Time for a new deck
4/2/15
How's it work Grampy?
Separation vibration
Oh elemental
4/5/15
With the music tree
We call the band Mariah
Then it plays for free
4/10/15
My golden halo
Chocolate is delicious
Shared new found knowledge
4/12/15
Namaste friends!
